We are looking for a details-orientated Finance Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting during the rapid growth of iBet. This is a challenging role that will bring out the best in you and allow you to propel your career forward.

What you will be doing

  • Working with the finance team to ensure financial reporting is timely, accurate, consistent, complete and in line with IFRS
  • Recording of bank, PSP, purchase ledger, revenue, costs and all accounting entries for Balance Sheet and Income Statement
  • Preparing the monthly financial reporting in SAP and Excel
  • Payment processing across multiple companies and bank accounts, managing Accounts Payable cycle
  • Managing Statutory audits alongside the other finance team members
  • Statutory reporting to relevant authorities such as the MGA and VAT returns
  • Collecting, interpreting, reviewing and reconciling financial information
  • Producing financial reports related to performance, cash flows, budgets, expenses, etc.
  • Developing strong documentation around business processes and internal controls, plus maintenance of and improvements to monthly accounting working papers and reporting packs
  • Assisting with budgeting and financial components of business plans
  • Analyzing trends from internal financial data as well as market trends and competitors

What you need

  • Qualified Accountant
  • 2+ years post-qualified Finance experience
  • Working knowledge of the online gambling industry – financial reporting and VAT primarily, with regulatory reporting and gaming taxes a bonus
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and audit techniques
  • Proficient user of SAP, Excel and Office suite of products. Xero would be a bonus.
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data, but also being able see the big picture
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • A creative problem solver, self-motivated to manage the responsibilities of the role
  • Ability to juggle priorities and deliver in line with deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in English.
  • Any SQL experience would be a bonus
