Claymore Group are looking for an exceptional and experienced Risk, Payments and Fraud Manager to join their team. This is a brand-new role in a fast-growing start-up with high ambitions for 2020. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a new department, implementing operational procedures, training new hires and supporting the strategic direction of the department. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated, able to deliver under pressure and have a real passion for leveraging data to drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the readiness of the platform for launch across all Risk, Payment and Fraud requirements and dependencies
  • Configuring and managing of 3rd party systems and tools
  • Creating SOP’s and training guides and developing an onboarding process for new hires
  • Recruit, train and lead a cohesive and high-performance team of professionals
  • Develop and implement robust Risk and Fraud policies and procedures to protect Claymore Group, our brand and our players
  • Manage day to day 3rd party relationships, develop critical partnerships for mutual benefit
  • Collaborate with other departments including Customer Service, Product, Compliance and Marketing to ensure Players continually receive the best experience
  • Reviewing deposits and withdrawals to mitigate against financial loss
  • Monitoring and improving conversion rates and chargeback ratio’s
  • Managing onboarding and KYC of new customers
  • Research new payment methods and fraud technologies and provide valuable input into the roadmap
  • Implement and manage KPI’s and Sla’s to ensure maximum operational efficiency and a continual high performance across the department
  • Work closely with Technology teams to build and test new products

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience across Risk, Payments and Fraud in the online gambling industry
  • 3+ years’ management experience leading a large operational team
  • Strong knowledge of gambling compliance including RG, AML and KYC
  • Broad knowledge of the payments and fraud landscape including emerging trends, global APM’s and new technologies
  • Analytical capabilities with SQL and advanced Excel
  • Good understanding of 3rd party Fraud, Risk and Compliance systems
  • Experience working with Payments IQ a plus
  • A can-do attitude with a flexible approach and willingness to meet challenging deadlines
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills

Early tasks (set-up and start-up phase)

  • Configuring of 3rd party systems/tools – Payments IQ (Devcode) will be the primary system but also GB Group, Iovation, Jumio etc.
  • Developing training guides and SOP’s (so strong written English a must)
  • Helping with implementing AML/RG operational procedures
  • Helping with testing of all payment methods
  • Helping to implement KPI’s, SLA’s and reporting

Additional Tasks – Live/Growth phase

  • Managing day to day 3rd party relationships – escalations etc (so the primary contact for operational issues)
  • Ongoing management of 3rd party systems
  • Handling CS queries and escalations
  • Managing chargeback representments
  • Reviewing and screening individual transactions (junior but certainly part of this role)
  • Hiring and training new team members (could include personnel in Manila)
  • Assisting with Product road-map, exploring new payment methods (would need good understanding of payment landscape)
  • Fraud resolutions QA and KPI monitoring etc
  • Supporting low level product roadmap requirement and feeding into overall strategy
